Born in Delhi, he did his b.com and a diploma in russian lanugauge delhi university.he recevied a fellowship for childerens theatre from the ministry of culture, govt.of india. he worked as artsist and teacher is sanskar rang toli(T.I.E.Co.) of national school of drama from 1995-2001. he has acted in more the 35 plays for childeren and adults. he has directed more than 50 plays for shri ram centre, various schools of delhi , colleges of delhi universtiy,various institutions and nGO's. he has reguraly organised various workshop on theatre in education and drama in education in various parts of the country in collaboration with N.C.E.R.T. , b.L.ed , T.I.T.E and S.C.E.R.T. he managed theatre workshop with various cultural groups all over india under the 'RED RIBBON EXPRESS 2007' which was the worlds largest AIDS awareness programme. he is the founder member of 'Kirdar' and 'Tree'. |

Directed and evolved more than 30 plays in different educational institutions, NGO’s and with theatre groups.Invited as workshop expert by different NGO’s (Doosra Dashak, Alarippu, Action India, etc.) in different parts of India.Did film appreciation course organized by Embassy of France and Cinemaya coordinated by Prof. Suresh Chabberia.Expert with TIE Company of National School of Drama for theatre workshops since 2002.Organizing Theatre workshops for more than last 15 years with college students specially focused on Theatre in higher education including sensitive issues of ‘Gender Discrimination’, ‘Adolescence’ and ‘Peer Pressures’. The whole design of workshops also includes seminars, discussions and improvising and performing plays.Coordinating and teaching the subject paper ‘Theatre and Performance’ at B.A. level course of Delhi University. Conducting workshops for teachers on ‘Theatre in education’ and being invited as resource person in refresher courses of the teachers. |
